Back when I used to work in my platoon,
I saw her, and [wow] was she beautiful!
So I sat next to her, and then I said to her…
“Give me your numbers.”
I wanna go to the movies and the beach with you!
Then the next day,
Me and my [new] girlfriend, we walked, yes, we strolled around through the whole city.

Back when I studied at school,
I saw her, and my “heart started to beat faster.”
I stopped next to her, and said to her:
“Give me your numbers.”
I wanna go with you to the cinema and the beach.
Give me your numbers.
I wanna go with you to the movies and the beaches.
You are the doctor,
You are my lover,
I am a sick one in the hospital of romance.
You are the teacher,
I am the student.
I work as a soldier of love in the
military school.

Walk with me in the city and the institute,
Study with me from the ones to the twos,
Study with me in the office of romance,
Walk with me in the institute and the city.

[if] I am a president,
You are a princess,
Searching for peace, we’re only looking in the mirror,
If I had served as king, all the people would agree,
I’d have wanted zero blood, ‘cause I’m not crazy!
-v-
I want to love her.
I want her next to me.
Is there a problem?
I have problems.
-v-
I want to love her.
I want her next to me.
What is the problem?
I have problems.
-v-
Walk with me through big-hearted streets,
Hang out on an earth on which are many
Hopes and happinesses,
Write with me in the book of love, right now.

Write with me in the book of love, right now.

What is the problem? Is [she] my lover the problem?
What is the problem? Is [she] my lover the problem?
What is the problem? Is [she] my honey the problem?
What is the problem? Is she [my loved one] the problem?

As a former soldier, I know that we have enemies in the world, but America is a diverse country of many different sapidities/flavors and backgrounds, and that makes us stronger than anything anyone outside can throw at us. Our varied differences and ability to knit together in times of trial like knotted ropes is often one of us as Americans’ core strengths.
We should respect our allies, who are decent everyday peeps like you and I, and who might also wanna get in on Forward Observer’s good vibes, music, love philosophy and global tech-art-cultural golden age too. Because of my particular background and the charged criticality of the region, I’ve always been fascinated with the Middle East. It is unfortunately a sad flashpoint of violence in the world right now. Although I know my Arabic accent’s no good and nearly twenty years out of practice, lol, let’s allow these two songs to speak for good will as we hope and pray for global peace!
