Whether or not you consider donating to MY musical mission or not, please, please at least consider donating to this wonderful charity! Guitars4Vets helps veterans “restring” their lives after combat trauma, PTSD, etc., through the healing power of music.
If my website’s unveiling triggers any of the expected clacking dominos of a monetary response for Forward Observer, the music, and his mission, I’d hope Guitars4Vets gets to accompany those starched green bill fiscal troops on their way to the bank. Even enough money for one guitar for a veteran who might benefit from the program would have made the entire effort all worthwhile. I know that when I got out of the Army, I found music to be a great way to deal with MY struggles to readjust to civilian life. After completing a set number of lessons, veterans in the program are gifted with their very own acoustic guitar, tuner, and strings/picks. Forward Observer is proud to have contributed to this cause himself over the last several years, using CD money to buy gently used Epiphones from pawn shops and music stores etc. for donation to the cause, and hopes that some of you out there might consider helping out with a cash donation as well this holiday season! It’s another example of how music can change and/or save lives!

This is a little ditty I wrote for Guitars4Vets. They had no idea until now. I hope they like it!
